Behind every great season is a coach who inspires, motivates, and helps players become their best—both on and off the floor.
The Strathmore Venom Best in Coaching Award gives players and families the opportunity to recognize a coach who made a meaningful impact throughout the 2026 season.
We are looking for coaches who demonstrated outstanding leadership, commitment, and a passion for developing athletes while creating a positive and supportive team environment.
When submitting your nomination, consider the following:
- Leadership
Did they lead with integrity, positivity, and respect while setting a strong example for their players?
- Player Development
Did they help athletes improve their skills, confidence, and love for the game?
- Communication
Were they approachable, encouraging, and effective in communicating with players and families?
- Dedication
Did they consistently go above and beyond to support their team throughout the season?
- Team Culture
Did they foster teamwork, sportsmanship, inclusion, and pride in being part of Strathmore Venom?
To nominate a coach:
Submit the coach’s name along with a brief explanation of why you believe they deserve to be recognized as our 2026 Best in Coaching Award recipient to secretary@strathmorelacrosse.com.

Our coaches dedicate countless hours to helping athletes learn, grow, and succeed. Let’s take a moment to celebrate the individuals who make such a positive difference in our players’ lives.
