Volunteer Information

The Strathmore Lacrosse Club requires families to satisfy a 10 point per player (max 20 per family) volunteer bond by fulfilling some volunteer positions during the regular box season. 10 hours of volunteering equals 10 points.

Those not wanting to fill any volunteer opportunities will be charged a $200 fee per player registration to a maximum of $400 can be paid in advance at time of registration. Volunteer points must be complete in full prior to the end of the team’s season. All hours volunteered can be added together over the season and can be spread over various volunteer opportunities. Team managers will report volunteer hours to the Volunteer Coordinator to be tracked. Bench personnel must have adequate training and attend a majority of games and practices to receive full credit of points.

Volunteer Positions:

Coach = Min 10 points   *will meet family obligation of 20 points

Assistant Coach = Min 10 points   *will meet family obligation of 20 points

Bench Volunteer =1 Point per Game  *can be shared by more than 1 person

Team Manager = Min 10 points   *will meet family obligation of 20 points

First Aid Volunteer on Bench = Min 10 points  *will meet family obligation of 20 points

Jersey Parent = Min 10 points    *will meet family obligation of 20 points

Board Member = Min 10 points   *will meet family obligation of 20 points

Roughnecks 50/50 = 10 Points per Person  *Each seller will earn 10 points for family

CDLA Casino = Min 10 points   *will meet family obligation of 20 points

Tournament Planner = Up to 20 points  *Pending review of hours participated

Score Keeper = 1 Point per Game

Time Keeper / Shot Clock = 1 Point per Game

Penalty Box = 1 Point per Game

Misc Support Roles = 1 Point per Hour
