U15

U15 is for players aged 13 and 14 years old, born in 2009 and 2010.

The CDLA U15 division is tiered into A, B and C divisions. Evaluations are held prior to the season in order to place players. If Strathmore Venom have more than one team in this division, we must have a C division team. Entering A and B teams are at the discretion of the Strathmore Venom Lacrosse Executive and must adhere to the CDLA Tiering Policy.

All divisions play in the CDLA and league statistics are kept to determine playoff positions. Playoffs are played to determine city champions.

Strathmore Lacrosse is part of the Calgary District Lacrosse Association (CDLA) along with 7 other member clubs from Calgary and area. These clubs include: Calgary Axemen, Calgary Hornets, Calgary Knights, Calgary Sabrecats, Okotoks Mustangs, High River Heat, Rockyview Lacrosse (Airdrie and Cochrane)

The purpose of the club is to offer an opportunity for young athletes in Strathmore, Chestermere, Siksika Nation, Langdon and surrounding rural areas to learn and play box lacrosse.

We honour and acknowledge the traditional lands of Treaty 7 upon which we live, work, and play. We honour and respect our neighbours and friends of the traditional Blackfoot Territory and the Blackfoot Confederacy which includes Siksika Nation, North & South Piikani Nations, and the Kianai Nation.
